My wife did an excellent dumpling course here.

Very nice and tasty inn with regional cuisine and friendly service. The dumplings are fantastic.

We were very satisfied. The food and breakfast were also very good.

The dumpling seminar ,, Birkensteiner dumpling ,, was just great .. great seminar leader, great recipes and great organization ... I can only recommend it ..

Our vacation was "A round thing". It was a lovely kind attentive host. Nothing was too much for the staff, all requests were fulfilled. Breakfast and food was a dream. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, great bathroom. The dumpling course with many tips on dumplings is highly recommended. Thanks Michaele, we will be back.

... came spontaneously on our bike trip, we didn't make reservations, but we got a nice room and a cozy place in the garden for dinner. The breakfast was great. All hygiene rules were observed and the service and kitchen were really great. We will definitely be back ... then we reserve in advance. We felt safe and in good hands.

Unfortunately we left the restaurant before ordering because the service was more than rude and made us feel like we weren't welcome.

We were there for dinner, once had schnitzel with spaetzle and cordon bleu. Good taste, nice service and beautifully laid out outdoor area right by the stream. We would come back! The rooms also look very inviting. All hygiene regulations were complied with, the operation even brought a straw with a tablet 🙈

We have definitely been to the Bergmühle 10 times, it is now like "coming home". The boss and the employees who have been the same for years are extremely friendly, highly committed and attentive. The tastefully and pleasantly sparsely furnished rooms are very nice, the food is excellent. A place to relax and unwind.

Fun "dumplings", delicious food and good value for money. Plus nice hosts - what more could you want? ;-)

Super great room, very clean and lovingly decorated. The owner and the staff are super friendly. Breakfast was also first class. I can only recommend.

We had a very spacious room on the second floor, everything was very modern and new, the bathroom was as you would like it to be at home, large and bright. We were served very nicely in the evening as we had dinner in the house The menu is very clear and not overloaded. The breakfast in the morning leaves nothing to be desired - everyone can find what they need whether egg dishes with or without bacon ........... It wasn't the last time ......

We did the dumpling cooking class and stayed overnight at the Alte Bergmühle. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Michaela, the Cheffin and everyone else working there are very friendly and accommodating. We felt very well and recommend the dumpling cooking course to everyone !!!

For today's Mother's Day, we once again made a trip to Birkenstein and reserved for the first time in the inn. A complete success. Place cozy, sunny on the terrace. Service very nice and the roast beef with burgundy sauce a poem. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to rest. Has a good breakfast aswell.
